A Southern Spring in Spring Colors

High above the wooded hills
The wild geese fly
Headed north once again
Across the Southern sky.

Deer graze in the meadows
Chipminks frolic in the sun
New life abound everywhere
Now that winter is done.

A small stream flows along
Over rocks and sypress knees
While a flock of wild turkey
Scratch in the fallen leaves.

An array of spring flowers
Creates a beautiful bouquet
And with the dogwood blooms
They put nature on display.

Each of the seasons are different
There's joy that each will bring
But there's nothing quite like
The beauty of a Southern Spring.
